We have a credit card from capital one and have paid payments twice a month at a minimum well I made a payment and they put it on hold! They said cause too many payments looks fraudelent! Eleven times of calling I can't understand the rep so I request a English rep in the US! Well I was told no! Then while I was speaking and telling he guy I was requesting the payment to be credited and released for credit available and he said more or less he didn't care what I wanted! We were told I made too many payments in the last two billing cycles ! So because my account balance is a very small amount and it's almost paid off yet the payment was on hold for five days? I was hung up on! I was told I couldn't be helped! I asked to speak to a supervisor 12 times in three minutes and was told no! Horrible service !!!

Misinformed

You seem to be misinformed about what a Credit Card is. You see it isn't your money, it is an amount of their money a company is willing to allow you to borrow.

They are actually under ZERO obligation to make any of your credit line available, that's right you could wake up tomorrow morning and have your credit line reduced to $100 or even closed all together and they are not obligated to do a single thing. Why? Because YOU agreed to all of this when you opened up your account.

They are also right, there is again absolutely zero reason to make multiple payments in a month unless you were constantly spending up to the limit. But as they said that is a huge indication of fraud and unsound credit usage. There is no "bonus points" or "gold stars" for making multiple payments in a month. All they or any credit card cares about is that you make at least the minimum payment by the due date.

If you are think of being cute and try the "Well if they aren't going to make my credit line available, I am not going to pay them". Remember you are only paying back money you have ALREADY borrowed plus interest which you agreed to. If you go down that road you will lose.

Oh, and no I do not now work for this or any other credit card, and yes this is how every other credit card works as well.
