CAR X IS GROSSLY OVER CHARGING FOR THE REPAIR. EVEN HIGHER THAN A DEALER cheated employees and screwed the customers even more WEST CHESTER Ohio

I'm a ex-employee of car-x at Union Center in West Chester, Ohio.

I worked there for only a few weeks because of the conditions I worked under. My first coules of days there I had a car i was working on that i diagnosed with a oil pan leaking. I informed the Service Manager (Bob) about it and Bob told the customer we needed to degrease his engine perform a dye test on the engine to find the oil leak that i had already diagnosed. The degreasing of the engine and the Dye test was never Performed per instructions from the Service Manger (Bob).The Customer just 89.95 plus tax for work that was never performed.

After being there about a week i noticed the Service Manager (Bob) and The Asst. Service Manager (Rick) knew very little about working on cars and both of them claim to have 30 years exp. working on cars. I have only 3 years exp. working on cars and i have much more knowledge of how to diagnose and repair a car than both of them put together. after being there a couple of days i was asked by rick to give him a hand puts a belt on a engine because he couldn't figure out how the belt went back on. Putting a belt on a engine is one of the most simplist things to perform on a car.

Whenever Rick attemped to use the scan tool he always asked me to help him with the scan tool because he could never figure out how to use it. (f you don't know what a scan tool is. It is the used to help diagose check engine lights, ABS light, and more)

Bob the Service Manager told me that he had no knowledge of electrical. The cars built today or 99% electrical. if you have no knowledge of electrical you have no business attemping to work on a car. if it was up to me the service manager and the asst. service manager wouldn't be able to get a job working on bicycles.

While i was there i was made to work 9 to 11 hours a day without a break. but, the service manager docked me a 30 minutes pay everyday for a lunch i never had. Bob the service manager at car-x at union center Westchester, Ohio 777-7000 in a thief.
