Care Credit - GE Money Bank Dishonest late charges and finance charges Ripoff Orlando Florida

I was charged a late fee because I was told my minumum payment was raised to $57 instead of the usual $50 which I have been paying for almost 2 years. How can they raise the minumum amount due when the card has never been used and I have been paying off the balance for years?? They insist it was online on my statement and it showed that I owed $57 instead of $50. I paid it a couple weeks early, my mistake for being a responsible customer, I suppose. The minimum payment listed was $50. But they insist it was $57. There is no record of this online bill, so it is my word against theirs. They were very rude on the phone and refused to lift the late fee over the $7 which I didn't even know I owed.

It's bad enough that this company gets away with the no interest for 12 months then slaps huge interest charges on your entire balance, even tho it has been paid down hugely. You end up owing much more than you borrowed, even after paying half of what you borrowed.

Then they have to make extra money by charging bogus late fees?? How long can this company keep getting away with this? We really need to do something about it!
For the record, they can send my account to a collection agency. I have already paid them more than I owed to start with, their threats of ruining my credit don't bother me at all. I would rather have bad credit for 7 years then pay them another dime!
