CBCS sends me a 3rd., and final letter asking me to pay a bill. The funny part is that they only sent me
THIS ONE letter. I was reported to the Credit Bureau. Here's a bit of my story. I was laid off from
work, I had no insurance, got sick, went to the hospital for three days. I ended up with a $5,600 bill.
I applied for aid (since I am unemployed, had nothing but debts, and no job) I was denied -but was
never told by the hospital (GW University in DC) and sent me to collections right away. It was a bit of
my fault, but I should have checked on it since I never heard from them. Dealing with CBCS has been
nothing but a hassle. I will pay them $50 until I reach the full balance, and will miss payments if I feel
like it. Oh and their 1888 number works whenever it feels like, making it hard to contact them. They
have ZERO diplomacy and ZERO professionalism.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
You Get What You Give

From your story you state you got denied for aid and are unemployed. You stated you will miss payments and think they are unprofessional. I cannot speak on your behalf, however you get what you give. If services were used, they (the hospital) treated you and request prompt payment. Your obligation fell threw and you're getting mad at the hospital/collection agency.
Keep in mind payment $50 will take years to pay off (112 payments!)--I wish you will in your endeavors (religion, health, job and paying off past due accounts)
