CHASE BANK Chase is the actual theif HOUSTON TX

I had two transactions on my account $85.00 and $84.93 that were performed at a Shell gas station.I filed a report with Chase and they credited my account, so far so good. a few days later I receive a message from the bank that the merchant proved that I performed the transaction!!! I said great,show me the proof. I called Chase customer service and a woman who knows absolutely nothing put me on hold and came back after few minutes and said" no,its not that the merchant has a proof of the transactions,its because the transactions were performed within 19.2 miles from your address!! I was absolutely fuming and could not believe how stupid that woman was.but,she does not make the rules,CHASE makes the rules and that is the banks decision,not hers.so,Chase wants to let the thieves get away with the money as long as they can make me take the loss.its not a big amount but I WILL NEVER EVER EVER ACCEPT THE LOSS.
