Choice Home Warranty Choice Home Warranty makes any excuse to deny a claim

This company is the worst home warranty company on the planet! I filed a claim on my AC and they sent a technician out. He sent report that my unit need to be replaced due to short to ground which could have happened because of power surge or something instantaneously causing the unit to fail. Well they denied my claim saying that the because the unit was working before the claim that it could have caused issue over time. What? So I file an appeal which does nothing but have their "case manager" repeat word for word the denial email you get no review no nothing. Then I contact the number thats on this BBB and conference the tech with another rep and he explains could be instant then she says we only cover wear and tear. What! First you say wear and tear is not covered now you saying it is but instant issues aren't covered???? So if my refrigerator all of a sudden broke down it would not be covered because it's instant failure??? This company is bullshit! They use every excuse to deny a claim and do not go thru a regular appeal process only excuse. Beware! Do not spend your time or money with these people. Not only will you not get helped but you will wait on the phone for over an hour to try to speak to someone who does not know anything!
