ConsumerInfo.com ripoff- CIC Credit Monitoring Svr Service Orange County California

My wife, bless her naive heart, trusted this company to provide a free credit. Even after selecting not to be charged 79.95 for the Credit Monitoring service. Guess what, they billed it anyway. (I would have barfed at the idea to get something free, you provide a CC number) We got the phone number for the place, by only doing some surfing on the Internet. (Most reputable companies will list their phone with the Charge on the accout with circumstances like this) I had her call and try to resolve/ cancel (she swearing that she never signed up). They told her that it is an error on their part and that it will be refunded within 24 hrs. Guess what again, it is now 72Hrs. One more call (recorded), and onto the Disputing the charge with my CC company. Avoid these guys like the plague, a scam pure and simple, but I bet legal on some levels... But not when you tell them not to charge and the they do, Does the words fraud and theft come to mind?
