CIC Credit Monitoring Service ripoff Fradulent charges to bank account Orange California

Several months ago, my wife found a site on the internet advertising a credit reporting service for one month free, I understood there was a time limit of 30 days in which she had the option to cancel the service or continue to use it for a monthy charge of $39.99. It was my impression that she had cancelled this service, however I noticed in December a charge for credit monitoring for $39.99 along with a phone number listed on my online bank account statement.

I immediately called this number and was connected to customer service, they told me this charge was for an internet credit service. I requested the service be terminated and not to be billed in the future. They were very cooperative informing me the account had been closed and I would not be billed anymore.

Suddenly I see a new charge for CIC Credit Monitoring Service for $79.99. The phone number is 800-220-2626. I am infuriated about this. I'm right in the middle of purchasing a home and This little stunt is causing great damage to my finances and my credit stability causing my account to become overdrawn. I am also now facing a $20.00 overdraft charge.
