Classmates.com STOLE 39.00 From Me! Internet Fraud Internet

Late last evening I signed on to my PC to check my email. I received what I now recognize as a "teaser" email, The email stated that someone on classmates.com had left me a note, but in order to receive it, I wouldneed to change my curretn "free" membership, which is extremely limited to a Gold membership. I saw that they had 3 options, the one I chose was for a 3 month trial Gold to be billed at 5.00 per month.

This morning I woke up, got on my PC again to check my email and saw that I had received a "welcome GOLD MEMBER" email from Classmates.com. In it, it stated that the amount I had been charged was 39.00, which IS NOT the option that I had chosen. There is also another charge on my card for something else, that I did not authorize. I will look into this, but I believe it is for a membership in 123, Privacy Matters...another service that I did not order! I have written Classmates.com an email asking for a fulll refund of my money and will let you know what happens as a result. (I threatened tham with the BBB if they did not reverse the charges on my card.)

Beware, there are other reports of this company doing the same thing to other individuals as well, which is what prompted me to write this report. I have never reported any company or individual prior to today.
Will update later...BTW: the "note" someopne had left for me was from someone who did not even attend my Highschool, someone I have never met! and the note just said "Hi"....RIPOFFF!
