I wrote a less than flattering review on google for Compass Bank and it was promptly removed the next day. I went back and copyed the same review to every Compass Bank in Texas and those are gone. I think Compass and google are in on it together. It is illegal to remove google reviews.

Why do you think that removing Google reviews is illegal?

It is illegal to remove google reviews.
- Not so much. Google is a private web site and can choose to remove an item if they want. If you don't like it then start your own site where you can make up your own terms.

Who knows why the first review was removed but again it really doesn't matter because it is their site. But most likely since you copied the same review to every branch they probably felt that your following reviews were SPAM.
