BBVA reduced my interest rate on MMA without proper notice. Their contention is that since the rate decreased on our statement, that was the notice. I had been told by the manager that the interest rate would continue from 2015 to 2016. He never told me that it was a teaser extension. They also renewed our CD for 16 months @ 0.10% since we were a week late in contacting BBVA.

The Manager had been calling me from time to time to sell annuities and I was depending on him to inform me if there were interest setbacks so that I could take preventive measures. WE ended up losing a few hundred due to utter bad customer service relations at this branch. We ended up moving our deposits but are still stuck with the CD. We don't trust what they say anymore.
