Called the auto teller to find out they charged me a 29.00 service charge. Caaled and they stated it was a fee for going over the 15 calls a month. Stated never heard of that, Asked if fee could be waived said no. Went into branch and spoke with them about it, nothing could be done. Their reply to me was why did you call 44 times, said did not know. told them i closing out my account period.
On the subject of nsf's. they hit me for be overdrawn on 7/10 by 1.29 and hit with with 38.00 five days later. this sucks. people shoud avoid this bank alltogeher.

i mean there is a difference between turning a profit and scamming hard working americans out of their hard earned money, these banks arent protecting themselves with these ridiculous fees their cleaning up and clearing out everyones bank accounts, who cares how many times they called, you have to keep up with your finances when banks are charging so many bogus fees and your paranoid about your balance because nsf funds are ridiculous, tell me how many banks have gone out of business because of not charging exorbitant fees?funny there is like 200 complaints on this bank and just a few weasels trying to soften the damage,I will bet [1] your setting behind your large executive desk at a bank [2] you have stock in this financial institution or [3] you have been brainwashed by the afformentioned cult.

Why would you need to call 44 times in one month? And as far as you saying you did not know about the charge, did you even bother to read your account disclosures? I seriously doubt it because if you had you would have known about the charges you received. Of course you received a $38 fee for overdrafting your account. YOU spent money you did not have and there is a fee for using the bank's money. The 2nd $38 fee was assessed because YOU failed to repay the BANK's money in a timely manner. People like you need to start taking responsibility for their actions and stop trying to get everything for free. And no Compass will not refund all of your fees for you. It is a business and like any other business they are trying to turn a profit. If you owned a business would you give out interest free loans or free services all day? No, because you would very quickly be bankrupt.
