We were send a letter.Telling us we see your van has high miles and the warrenty is running out.We will give you a full warrenty on your van for 300.00 down 88.00 a moth full warrenty.And here is the best part if you never use it. And you trade your car in you will get a full refund of the money you paid in. We paid 300.00 and paid 10 months 88.00 dollars. We bought a new car called to cancel. After 3 weeks we were told are refund was 200.00 dollars. There comment was when we said you promised a full refund. Will you dont get that your van had high milles. We never had a service call . Never used there service. And there comment was you had a high miles. This is the most stupid statement i have ever heard . They dont care what they say to you they are keeping your money. These people are so crooked and proud of it they have a scam. and dont care who they hurt.They need to be put out of everyones misery. If someone can help please do . We were robbed. And i bet thre is a whole lot more people that have been done wrong by . CONTINENTAL WARRENTY.

Every insurance policy and extended warranty works the same on this issue. You can cancel the plan at anytime, cancellation after the first 60 days result in a prorated refund. Example someone buys a 37 month 37,000 mile warranty for $2,100.00 dollars, they drive for 6 months and put 12,300 miles on the vehicle. They have used approximately 16.66% of the plan by time and 33% of the mileage. The prorated refund would be 67% of the plan cost which would be $1,400.00 dollars. Lets says the customer had put down $245.00 and had made 5 payments of $90.00 a month. They have paid us a total of $695.00 and used $700.00 worth of our warranty and are subject to no refund, in fact they owe us $5.00 dollars.
Any warranty follows these parameters, GM, Ford, BMW, Chrysler, any of them.
I apologize if there was confusion on this, the terms of cancelling an agreement for a prorated refund are gone over on recording in the verification department and are spelled out in the contract that you have to read and agree to for 30 days prior to making your first payment.
