COOPERVISIOnN / luxotica/ Target contacts rebate ripoff Nationwide

Target optical pushes Coopervision contacts with the pitch that if you buy a years supply the manufacturer Coopervision will send you a rebate and supplies a rebate form which recomends filing on line. After a month and no response from Coopervision to on line inquiries, email requests or phone calls to see if they have even received the online submission I contacted Target optical to find out what gives. Turns out Target has nothing to do with the eyecare it's only leasing the space to Luxotica a massive corporation despit all the receipts saying TARGET OPTICAL. No one at the local store could do anything to help and all the phone #'s they gave me were not good numbers.

Some consumer agency needs to step in and controll this so that the rebate is either automatic or they stop offering something that doesn't seem to exist. Target might want to be carefull about what's going on in their stores since if their not part of this their name is on top of the pile.
