Coral Resorts Scammers and Liars Hilton Head, South Carolina

They did the same thing to my husband and I a few years ago........we were supposed to be swapping time shares with them.....Not So!!!!!  We paid ours off just so we wouldn't have to deal with them as much, but we had to refinance our house to do it.  The $1000 maintence fees are killing us.........we have not seen a developer week survery yet.  They said we would get a notice in the mail every year asking us if we wanted one.  Told us they would get rid of our timeshare....actually said we were just swapping.  Called and wrote letters later threatning to sue, but they said they were going to sue me for slander.  Called a local attorney and he said nothing I could do because we signed a contract and didn't fully understand it.  I hope these people are miserable because of what they have done.  Actually read of one lady saying she got a lawyer to write them and they actually gave her the money back and tore up contract!!!!  Wish I could have gotten so lucky.  They got us on the maintenance fee too.......said we wouldn't owe it for a year and then we got a bill.  When I called to complain (AGAIN) was told that if I would sign a letter saying that I would not contact the media or persue a lawyer, they would let me off the hook for that first year payment (which is what they promised me to begin with ANYWAY)!  I had no choice by this point but to accept........I couldn't afford to give them anything else!!!!  They are CRUEL!!!!
