I am writing you , in hopes that you can help! My mother has been being harassed by counrtywide over a loan her husband took out when he was sick, very sick. He was suffering from tpye 2 diabeties, and looked like a walking skeleton. I don't understand how they could have gave him a loan knowing he probably wouldn't live long enough to pay it off. Needless, to say James Doyle passed away Feburary 12, 2008, and since then my mom has been fight with Counrtywide to help her and consider her hardship. We have worked with the housing commission by getting a mediator and not surprised Countrywide refused to work with them. Then we tried by getting the Attoney Generals office invovled, they also refused them as well. They won't lower her payments during this hardship she is enduring, and to add to that the hardship of the counrty. She has tried to work with Counrtywide by sending in documents and hardship letters of her struggles being left with nothing but debit. There was no death insurance, no savings because of the medical expenses, she had nothing to give and live at the same time. They are still harassing her with phone calls, with demands that they know she can not possibly meet. They are just bound and determined to take one of two things she has left her house, cuz they will not take her LIFE.

Sincerely yours,

Laurie Perez
Cedar Springs, Mi

P.S. Thank you for listen, cuz Countrywide hasn't!
