I ordered a Shuttle Mini PC for $449 on 5/14/04 from CPU Parts because I liked the companies mission statement. My computer reach step 8 of 10. Then I received and e-mail saying it had been lowered to step 6 because of overwhelming demand for orders. I waited and waited and finally on 7/15/04 I politely asked them to cancel my order.

On 7/16/04 I received a response stating that my order had been cancelled and that my money would be refunded in 3 to 5 business days. It's been about 11 business days and no refund. I cant' wait and I can't support myself for two weeks without that refund. You go into this business transaction because you want to support small business and get a good product but now I feel violated. I feel sick and I'm sick of being taken advantage of. I want my $449 and I want to get this episode behind me.

Trouble with their bank

I just received an e-mail from someone in their customer service department that although they were able to charge my account. They were not able to receive the funds to their account from the bank they were doing business with nor are they able to refund my money for the same reason. This seems real shady. I did dispute this with my bank and we'll see what happens.
