I wish I had found this website before I placed my order. I would have saved myself some heartache. Like many others, I was too trusting and ordered from Crate Furniture. I got a call from Patti Johnson (probably not her real name). I didn't like her right away and got a bad feeling. I should have gone with my gut reaction, but I wanted new cushions for my This End Up sofa so badly. I got the same story as many others about their credit card system being down and could I send a check. If I did, they would waive the $42 shipping fee. I don't know why, but I sent a check.
Now, I can't get in touch with them. I'm reading all these stories about people that are in the same situation. I plan on filing complaints with every agency I possibly can. I can't believe they do this to so many people and no agency has taken action against them. They must be laughing their heads off about the fact that they can so easily rip people off. However, I hope to have the last laugh!

Still waiting for a refund or my order while this dynamic duo continues to scam people out of their hard earned money. Why the authorities continue to allow this to happen is beyond me. I noticed many new reports have been filed against these scam artists. It's amazing how well known these 2 are by the BBB of VA and the Virginia Office of Consumer Affairs. They are well aware of what these bad seed siblings are doing and can't stop them until the Attorney General files against them. All I want is a refund, but as everyone knows, no one answers the phones. I get sick every time I look at my sofa. It just reminds me of these 2 horrible people that ripped me and countless others off.

I filed a complaint with the Common Wealth of Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. They are very well aware of the complaints against Crate Furniture and Mark McCracken. If you are a victim of Mark McCracken, his sister Patti Johnson and Crate Furniture, you should log a complaint on their website - www.vdacs.virginia.gov
