Credit Acceptance Corp made payment arrangements that cac agreed with and they repoed my car anyway! Ripoff Detroit Michigan

I had a baby recently which just left my husband making all of the household payments with just his income.

We got a MONTH behind on a car that I have ONLY 5 more payments on. I financed the car for 3 years and have made my payments.

I called CAC and spoke to an representive, told her my situation, she said I was 480.00 behind and asked if I could pay the whole amount that day. I told her no, I told her I could pay 220.00 that day and I would pay the remaining 260.00 the next payday in a week.

She agreed to that, so I mailed off a money order. And exacally a week to the day I mailed the money order they repoed my vehicle!

I can not believe that a company would repo a car for $260.00 ESPECIALLY since I made payment arrangements with them.

So today my husband stays home from work (to help me and plus now we do not have a car) and calls cac to get everything straightened out.

He spoke to a guy (did not get his name) but he was so rude and disrespectfull to my husband, told him the reason the car was repoed is because our account was past due. My husband explained to him the arrangement I had made a week prior to the repoe and the guy had the I don't care attitude. And told him it was not their fault!!

My husband asked to talk to his supervisor he was told there was no supervisor around. Finally after my husband insisted to speak to a supervisor the guy screamed FINE and connected my husband to a voice mail, my husband left 2 messages for someone name Rick Lewis and as of yet no one has called us back!

So now we have 2 kids that have to be picked up from school and a new born and no vehicle!! What are we supposed to do?

Cac wants the payment of 260.00 today and plus a $400.00 repossession fee,which we do not have! I think they did all of this on purpose to get more money, do they not have enough? Please if you are reading this do not buy from this company!!
