Credit Acceptance Corp Harrassing Phone Calls, Wouldn't Change Payment Due Date, Wouldn't Work With You AT ALL!! South Holland Michigan

Where to start!?? Didn't have problems with this company at first; however, after a few months it was hard to get my payment to them by the 8th every month. A couple days late and they are calling you constantly. At home, at work, several times a day!!! I asked them to move my due date to the 15th. No way, wouldn't do it, of course not, they couldn't harrass me then.

So every month, it's late, and every month, they call. In May or June this year I made a late payment, but made the payment mind you on a Friday and on Monday they had my car repoed. Repoed. Real freakin nice.

I manage to get a loan to pay off the car. I call for the absolute total payoff. I ask them does this include repo fees and everything, I will never deal with you agan?? Of course, this is it he says. WRONG!!! A week later they call me with a $270.00 balance for repo fees. WHAT??!! How can this be?

So shortly after getting my car back, I get into an accident (not my fault) and my car is in the shop for 23 days. I explain all of this to the 25 different people from Credit Acceptance that I talk to over the course of 23 days and tell them I don't know when I'll be able to pay the $270.00 and explain the accident and whatnot. They were understanding, somewhat until...

This month. I start getting phone calls again. At home, at work. So now I'm just getting angry. Told the person I don't know when I can pay it. He proceeds to tell me if I don't have it paid by the 24th they will repo it again. Seriously?? oh for petes sake. Needless to say I borrowed the $270.00 and moneygramed it to them to save my car. So now I am calling them every day to find out where my title is... how does it feel???
