Credit Acceptance I received a truck in 2012 . Made my payments on time with Taxes I paid months ahead. I lost my job due to health problems.  There has been a ripoff here, no doubt. When you signed the contract with this subprime borrower, YOU agreed to make every payment on time. It was YOU who failed to live up to those terms, not them. It was YOU who turned on their collections machine by YOU ripping them off by failing to pay them back. Then again, you are with this subprime deadbeat lender because you ripped off other creditors too thus destroying your credit reputation. It just never stops, does it? I'll bet all the other cases within your reputation are also the fault of the creditor too, right? Enjoy the bus or better yet, walk so you'll have time to think about resolving to manage your money like a responsible adult. Let me save you some effort here. Don't bother writing back, "you must work for them" because I'll save you the trouble...I don't!
