In Jan of 2010 a representative of Crescent Processing Company came into my shop and showed a video on there company. It was great no contract and if you were not happy or at anytime you could send the credit card reader back to them at any time, no question ask. I sat and watch the video like what i was seeing. So i signed up with them, here were it went wrong. What i watch on the video and what i signed on the video,computer was not what i signed. ok. when i was done watching the video and signed on the computer, i had to talk to a new representative on the phone and was ask if i have a number and to read this number on the top left coner of this paper. The paper was to be what i just watch and sign on the computer. Wrong. No where on the video or the computer did it say it was a 4 year contract. I sent the card reader back and closed the account and now the nightmare begins. I called the rep that came to the shop and sign me up with Crescent and he told me not to worry about the fee that this one of there strong arm games and it will go away. it has not. I called to talk with again and still trying to bullied me around and will not back down they want me to pay a $495.00 fee to get rid of them. I called again and talk to my sale rep over this matter and what he told me that this is getting out of control. So far it still a very big matter and it has not been taking care of. Please go and check them out before you sign up with them. Make sure you have a copies of that contract or that number they will make you read to them. That the danger is that number. We did not get a copy of that paper or a contract and what you see is not true.I know not every credit card company can't make everybody happy. But at least stand be hind what they sell and state on their video and what you are told. With no hidden contract to scam you into a  long term contract.

credit card machine picked up?

Just wondering if you have ended your service with Crescent? We did and had to pay the 495.00 fee. We were to send back the credit card machine which they were going to send a call tag to pick up through Fed Ex but then someone from the Crescent company called and said they would have a representative in the area to pick it up. Now they have no record of the machine being returned and continue to debit our account for fees etc. I had to open a new account to stop the debits from them. I am wondering if anyone else has had Crescent pick up thier machines and if they are having the same problems??? If you do plan on sending it back to them, I highly suggest that you return it yourself thru ups or fedex and get proof that it was sent back to them. Make them sign for the return so you have the proof.  These people are  piece of work.
