NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY!
ALL their advertising is a lie. They response your order is so fast and call you many many times just get the deal, after you paid deposit, they can't be reached at all. Only record from representative, then you have to wait more half hour to get chance to Customer service. The scheduled pick up date is 19-20 JULY, as said driver will call me 24 hours in advance, I kept calling and calling they gave many excuse to not pick up, finally, My car was picked up by 27 July.

Ad make beautiful story, said DOOR-to-DOOR delivery and pick up. Actually, I have to drive my car to the big street to send it to driver.

Then they said you can track down car from system, actually, they can't, and only thing they gave me is drivers' cellular phone number. The voice mailbox is always full. The driver's name is Albert E. Carlson tell# is 626-230-8701. You can try that number; you will find what I am telling you.

They said within 6-8 days the car will be delivered. Now it is 9th days we don't know where is the car. The representative (Fredda) attitude is very very bad, she said, if you keep calling you would stuck there. This is the company.

The price, they said for July all customers will get 10% discount, the original price Jason gave me is $890.00, and then another person from same company (Jay) gave me %850.00. I asked Jason why? He said he works for Jay; he can give me same price. So Jason asked me pay $850.00. Since I didn't check their web site when I paid money, I don't know 10% discount. After I know it Jason said the original price is $900.00, he gave me discount already. Simple math. They should charge me $810.00 not $850.00.
I will send dispute to my Citi Credit card for processing the dispute.

All in All, this company must get out off the market. It is the worst company I never seen ever.

Finally, the pick up date is delayed one week, the delivery date is delayed more 10 days. The driver asked Cash only not the contract said both Cash or Cashier's check are accepted. The driver asked extra $75.00 Charge as well. Or he scared us and said if you didn't pay extra $ 75.00 Your car will be towed to LA, storage . Every day will cost you hundres $, and re-delivery fee will be $1.00 per mile etc. Then My friend Yihong Yu paid cash to the driver. The Driver's name is Albert E. Carson , his company name is Haulaway Trucking Address is DBA Haulaway Trucking 3713 Rockwell Ave. EL Monte, CA 91731.
CCAT is not a company, it is briefcase brokerage. It must be discharged from the market.

It is very simple, either I am a swindler or the company is . Most of what Fradda said are lie
1.You just type "Cross Country Auto Transport" into Google web site, the first title is exact what I mentioned" this company is swindler " Take look " Consumer Complaints about Croos Country Auto Transport". You will find exact samething I reported to you. I very regret to say I should look the web site first. This is the worst experience I never had since I have been living in the States 19 years.

2. The representative Jason told me he is looking for new job, because I told him his stay will damage his career. He agreed.

Everyone can make judgemment who is th swindler.
Mainly, this is briefcase company if you call it a company, I think it is just a bokerage, getr customer for crazy driver, then they can't control driver at all. This is very bad, unsuccessful business model.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Unwilling Customer - Euclid, OH

AUTHOR: Fredda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 09, 2004

Cross Country Auto Transport is the nation's leader in personal occupancy vehicle (POV) transportation. We do not use deceptive advertising in order to set up potential customers. From the beginning, all customers are made aware of the potential set backs involved with the transportation of their POV. In response to Mr. Qiang's remarks we have this to say. To begin with, we had trouble finding a record of a customer known as Wei Qiang. After reading the remarks posted by him we quickly connected his transport to a customer that gave us the name Wei Dong. It appears that the first deception was made by Mr. Qiang in giving us a false name. Secondly it is important to mention that the POV that we were transporting did not actually belong to Mr. Qiang. It was owned and operated by Yi Hong Yu who does not speak English. Mr. Qiang is simply her friend and was helping her to set up her POV for transportation. Yi Hong Yu called and needed us to pick-up her vehicle within one week because she was leaving for California. At that time our standard pick-up window was three weeks out. When Mr. Qiang set up Yi Hong Yu's POV he provided us with two addresses for pick-up (Yi Hong Yu's address for pick-up that week and Mr. Qiang's address for pick-up after Yi Hong Yu had left for California). When our driver went to pick-up the vehicle from Yi Hong Yu she had already transferred it to the other location. When we tried to get in contact with Mr. Qiang at the phone number he provided us. This number was his work phone. We left him a message and proceeded to the second vehicle location. After waiting 4 hours for Mr. Qiang and leaving several messages (none of which were returned) our driver had to leave to stay on schedule. Finally, two days later Mr. Qiang called us and wanted to know when we were going to pick-up Yi Hong Yu's vehicle. We explained to him that we had tried to contact him and that our driver was at both locations two days earlier. At this point Mr. Qiang provided us with his cellular telephone number something he did not want to give us at the time he set up Ms. Yu's POV for transport. We then rescheduled Ms. Yu for the following week. We contacted Mr. Qiang and picked up the vehicle. The vehicle was picked-up within two weeks which is one week less than the time quoted (three weeks) to Mr. Qiang when he set up the transport. Mr. Qiang claims we charged him $850.00 when the cost should have been $810.00 due to our 10% discount. As explained multiple times to Mr. Qiang the 10% discount was already included in the original price quote. The price of Mr. Qiang's route was $1000.00. Ten percent of 1000 is 100. $1000.00 - $100.00 = $900.00. He was originally quoted $895.00. Therefore, not only did he receive his 10% discount he also received an EXTRA $5.00 off of the original price. We then MATCHED a competitor's price of $850.00 providing Mr. Qiang with an additional $45.00 in savings. Mr. Qiang was also quoted 6-8 days delivery time. He was also notified that this is strictly an estimated delivery time however due to traffic, weather and coordination with other customers we do NOT guarantee delivery dates. We tried to drop of the vehicle on the 9th day to Ms. Yi Hong Yu however, she did not have cash or a cashier's check or a money order to pay for the vehicle. This was all agreed upon by Mr. Qiang when he set up the transport and is in writing on the contract. Mr. Qiang insisted that we charge his credit card and advised Ms. Yu not to pay our driver for the vehicle. At this point our driver notified Ms. Yu that he was going to drop off her vehicle at a local terminal and that there would be an additional storage fee of $75.00. Mr. Qiang still insisted that we charge his credit card and still advised Ms. Yu not to pay our driver. After waiting another 4 hours for Ms. Yu to make a decision our driver dropped her vehicle of at a local terminal. The following day Ms. Yu had her cousin Yan Chen contact us. Ms. Chen was far more cooperative than Mr. Qiang. We explained to her the chain of events and she understood what had happened. Ms. Chen then commented that she wished she had helped Yi Hong Yu out from the beginning so that she could have saved the $75.00 fee that Yi Hong Yu was charged by the terminal. Ms. Yu the owner of the vehicle was happy with our service and apologized for Mr. Qiang's behavior.
