On 1/15/10 I purchased a pair (2) CV axels from D&J Auto Parts for $98 including shipping.. When speaking to them I was guaranteed the axels were in good condition and had a 60 day warrantee. Immediately upon receiving them I noticed no return aaddress or invoice in the very torn box but took them to my repair shop for installation. I was notified the next day by my repair shop that one of the boots on the axels were broken and that nomatter what they tried the axels were "so rusted" that they could not be used in any way on my vehicle. I had tpo purchase new parts. This is when I started trying to contact D&J's. Their phone numbers nolonger worked, information found several other phone numbers that were either incorrect or were nolonger working. I then went to the internet, could nolonger find their website. I also used my charge card bill and called the 800# listed but it was nolonger any good. Once my charge card company refunded my $98.00 suddenly in May D&J Auto Parts responds with a letter stating they had not been contacted, requesting funds be returned to them and forme to give further explaination. They also included a NEW letter of terms and conditions I had to follow which didnot exist originally. This stated I had to pay to return the items which weighs approx. 40 lbs. AND pay a 25% restocking fee. Are they kidding me? This company lied about the condition of these items, were not available for contact for almost 6 months, and setup a new website with return policy demands which basically guarantees no returns of car parts considering their size and weight which I never agreed to to begin with.
