Indiana BBB has more reports on this company than any other I have dealt with.
I have been buying car parts for many years on line, even from company's overseas and have never seen anyone as crooked as these guys.
They go by many alias  names, don't take my word for this. Type in 765-966-3447 in Google for yourself.
You will see:
Kumara Jayasuriya, D&J Used auto Parts, Salmini S Jayasuriva, Jayasuriya Kuma, Sally smith,Kumara L javasuriva.
I bought an A/C compressor from a fellow calling himself Charlie. The a/c was received from another company by the name of (North Smithfield Auto Recycling 1859 pound hill road).
 I opened the box and to my surprise the quick connect had been cut off the end of the compressor, not to be out done I had my mechanic splice the one off my blown compressor.
 I received it in terrible shape ( All rusted out) but it did work for one week and it leaked off all my Freon.Called D &J to report that It did not work and told Charlie I wanted my money back, was told to send it back.I sent it back and low and behold I was accused of cutting off the quick connect wire and that I had voided my warranty!!(He even called the dealership to confirm that I had used their services and to ask them if the quick connect was on the compressor) Why would I cut off the end to connect it? makes no sense! but was told ( NO REFUNDS!)

I called the person that sent it (ROLAND) in N Smithfield RI.(He ask if a new Receiver/drier was installed) My answer: Yes!I had receipts. He checked it out and did find out the compressor was leaking & I was told he would ship me another.It took about 2 more weeks to get the 2nd useless compressor. By then most of the summer heat was gone.
I get on the phone and call the so called Charlie and tell him what I had found out from North Smithfield Auto recycling. I ask him if he would reimburse me for the shipping cost of $16.00 and Charlie said fax me the shipping cost and I will pay you back for the shipping. I complied with his request and have not received any compensation from D &J auto.
Finally got the other compressor and it was as rusted up as the first one. Cleaned it up and took it to Bob More Cadillac in Oklahoma City they put on a second receiver/drier ($62.00 for receiver/driers plus paying to have them installed) Bob More installed the second one, guess what? It worked for two weeks!
I am through with D & J auto & these people. Anyone who deals with them please furnish your own Vaseline because once they get your card numbers you own the part.
The owner of this company has an Asian accent and changes his name frequently & one person tells you Charlie is just their mechanic and the next one tells you he is part ownership of the company??
bottom line: Beware of D & J Auto Parts

Holy cow! I wish I had searched the internet BEFORE ordering a part from these jackals! My story is exactly the same as yours, but mine involved the wrong part.

D & J Auto has violated the several provisions of the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act
(815 ILCS 505/). Every single person who has been scammed by D & J Auto needs to file a complaint with the State Attorney General. You can do it online!
