Daniel White Phone Call Rip-off Harrass Oakland California

I received two phone calls last night(july 30,2008).I checked my messages this morning and a guy with a thick accent said, that a friend and I are being sued for fraudulant uses of my social security number. The first message cut him off, so he called back leaving his number and said that this was urgent that I phone him back or face jail time. Once I returned his phone call I began asking about the case and what happened. He said he could only give me the case number. I began to get suspecious. So I asked personally what the case was about. He thought I was being rude because I was demanding more information and hung up on me. I phoned again askingfor a manger or supervisior, but he only hung up on me again and said I was rude, without leaving me the case number.

When I finally phone my friend and asked if he had being using my social security number. He imediatelly denied it and asked for the number. We looked up the number on google and realized that this was a scam. The company he used or said he was working for was: Atlantic Legal processing Department.
