DATA LINE CREDIT UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES RIPOFF HUNTINGTON BEACH California

When I tried to refinance our home three years ago we were alerted that there was a collection account on our credit for $33.00 from Data Line Credit Corp. When my wife called to find out what it was about the man who identified himself as Norm Rodgers was belidgerent and very disrespectful. Come to find out this bill was not even ours but that it was a Dr. Bill for a child of 7 years old. My wife told him that we had no children this age. He then responded that "maybe there are some things that she doesn't know, that he has a child out there that she didn't know about." He then became very rude and started calling her a looser who doesn't pay her bills. We contacted the Dr. office who stated that the bill had in fact been paid in full.

After contacting this guy he said it doesn't matter and that we better pay this bill or it will stay on our credit. It only being $33.00 we went ahead and paid. Much to our astonishment we went to refinance in January of 2005 and that the same collection agency was still on there but now for $10.00 and the escrow company made out the check and we mailed it to them. We then found out that there is an additional .80 added for interest. so we mailed them the .80 just to get it off of our credit report. Well it came off of ours and went onto my sons credit report for the full amount owed from years ago. Someone has to stop this guy anyone who wants to file a class action suit please let me know!!!
