Dell Financial Services. 2000.00 In Late Fees For Being 6 Days Late On $3500.00 - Late Fees are worst then the Mob Austin Texas

Back in May of 2003 I was told by Dell computers that if I took out a loan for the 7500.00 computer I would get a discount on the computer and if I paid the loan in 60 days there would be no interest charges or any other fees. I paid the first half in 30 days and the second payment was received by Dell 6 days late.

I was never notified that the payment was late and that would incur a $70.00 processing fee. I would have been OK about that. Instead for 2 years I've been getting statements from Dell Financial Total amount due = 0 . What I didn't see was the small print which said current loan balance. This amount was the finance charge for the 70.00 recording late fee. 2 years later Dell finally asked for 101.34 payment. Why? Dell doesn't know why after 2 years they finally ask for some money. I was then told that the loan had a payoff for the principal which was paid in full 6 days late and is now over $2000.00.

I have no problem paying 15% per year of the 70.00 and a small late fee foe being 6 days late on the balance of $3500 but $2000.00 is crazy. Why didn't each statement say that a total was due.
Dell customer service is awful. They don't care. They tell me a supervisor will call me in 7-10 days. They tell me to write. Has anyone had a good resolution from them? I have an A+ credit rating and don't want them to ruin it.
