I searched the web for a dental plan and found one I was interested in. The site is called the "dentalplans.com". I was interested in more information so I called them at
1-888-632-5353 and got an answering machine. I left a message and waited. I waited for three days and no response. I called again and left another message. As of this date I still have not had a response.
I tried to e-mail them at their address that they provided on the web, but it came back as undeliverable.
The dental plan sounded really good by Protective Consumer Direct, but it is odd that you do not get a response from them. I don't know if they are just shamming people or no longer exist. I haven't been ripped off thank heavens, but their payment plan is a little sketchy. They want you to allow them to automatically take the payments out of your checking account or credit card account once your application is submitted and accepted. I thought that other people should be aware of this.

I have filed a full report that should be posted soon. Suffice it to say that DentalPlans.com uses fraudulent renewal practices. Don't give them your credit card number unless you want to get ripped off.
