Derma Essence Do NOT signup for FREE TRIAL! Internet

I saw a free offer for Derma Essence skin cream, they offered a $4.95. I declined and got a pop-up box for 50% off for 2.95. I said yes and entered my info. I then got another pop-up for another product of which I declined. Nowhere on the page did it say a monthly recurring fee, or that I must cancel.

I noticed on 1/16/16 a charge for $84.75. I called the number on my statement and demanded a refund of which they declined and after after 45 minutes of arguing, I was offered a 60% refund (of which they sent me a confrmation email) but as of 2/4/16, I have yet to receive the 60% back. I was also charged $4.99 which "John" at the call center said was a mandatory "shipping guardian" fee, an extra fee I did not approve.

I asked John for the address of Derma Essence's corporate office. He refused to tell me. I asked him what state Derma Essence corporate office was located. He again refused. I asked him about his company; the name, the address or just the state. He just stated they were a 3rd party call center and that there is a terrorism law that made it possible for him to not disclose that information. The number to that call center is 844-404-9979. I tried to locate them online, but i could not.

If you check the better business bureau and ripoffreport.com- they have numerous complaints of doing the same thing to many other people. They hide the monthly signup, it is not openly disclosed that that is what you are actually doing when you get the free offer. Derma Essence probably uses affiliates so there are many, many websites (maybe or maybe not) associated with Derma Essence. The website I used now has a new product it is highlighting on its front page. (mybeautycareonline.com) but many of the website all have the same contact info so the company may have designed the website/webpage and everyone is surely in on the scammy behavior, even the fake 3rd party call center.

I've been trying to get information about them so when I file a complaint so I can offer as much identifying info as possible and to try and get my $84.75 and my $4.99 that I was cheated out of. Please file complaints with the Consumer protection agency in Utah and your home state, the FTC, and the atty general offices especially in Utah and in your home state. Good luck people. Be careful shopping online. The scammers are out in full force!
