I gave Dex Media the opportunity to help me with my companies advertising. They said they would build me a website that would mirror my existent website and send referrals. They would track the clicks and give me reports. Nothing was ever done and that was in 2010. I fought with them then and they said I was right and would not be charged for anything and take what I had already paid as payment in full. 2013 I get a call from a collection company, I fight with them for 3 weeks and finally get it settled again. Now October 2014 I get contacted by a totally different collection company claiming I owe $651.70. I call DexMedia and they say surprisingly there are no notes in their system other than I owe the money. So Dex doesn't collect on their accounts for 4 years? They say there are notes they tried multiple times to get a hold of me, same number, same address same contact information for over 8 years. Funny the collection company reached me first try. I refuse to pay for this and it seems that every time there is management change they try to collect as much as they can if it's owed or not and can't justify there was never anything done to be paid. Don't waste your money or your time with this company, you better off with another company that does what they say they will and don't waste your time after fighting for years that you owe them.
