NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED

Direct Buy Deception and overexaggerating savings on merchandise led us to believe might have been "cheaper." Buying from them we would spend more. Houston Texas

My husband and I fell victim to Direct Buy's deceptive practices and joined the club. We are building a home and were led to believe we could save a bundle on all the things we needed to purchase. I poured over the catalogs and spent hours on the website looking for these savings and in the end headed to other places to purchase doors , windows , faucets ,sinks,and flooring.
I was able to purchase a bathtub from them and according to their figures I saved 300. But I have no way of knowing if those figures were truthful.

My husband and I are sick about this. We spent 4500. to join and we can't see now how we can ever recoup that amount.

I wish I knew about this site before we signed on. We had a kitchen designer who ten years ago also joined Direct Buy when she was building her home. She also lost heavily on that deal. Too bad I didn't talk to her before signing.

When I saw this website I had to write in. Maybe it will save someone else from making this mistake as well.
We sure could have used that 4500. on our house.
