I have given out my account number 2 times to friends for Direct TV . Both times they were told that if they didn't use the referral program they would get a better deal from them. What is the point of the referral program then if the company is going to rip you off anyways.

Also I just called Directtv and I was talking to India the girl put me on hold for 25 minutes what kind of customer service is this company trying to prove.
