Years ago I joined DirectBuy and everytime we tried to use it, they could not get us what we were looking for and teh amount of time lost was insurmountable. It was an extreme waste of money.
My husband and I accepted an invitation - being told we had won plane tickets or a cruise and possibly a car. We listened to the spiel and saw a most organized and promising showroom. We almost purchased, but decided we had to wait for a few months.
The ticketw we had won were denied. The form letter that Grand Incentives lists 13 choices for the representative to use to deny the consumer of the tickets. Then, it is followed by a bait and switch tactic that though you may not have the tickets you can have a week in a condo. That week has a charge per person.
Basically, DirectBuy hasn't changed. They have gotten more savvy on how to get people in to write a check.
Grand Incentives does not have a reason to allow the consumer to change from a Tuesday to a day thay can use or to send in the form corrected...or any of the other eleven reasons. The odds are that any winner has a 90% chance or better of being denied a "free trip".
