I ordered blinds and Shuttes from Discount Blinds and Shade Factory on 10/03, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for the blinds and 6-8 weeks for the shutters.

I have been trying to get a delivery date, everytime I call I get the round around nobody gives you a straight answer, I have requested to speak to the owner on numerous occasions and they are never available. Everytime I call i'ts a different story, on 11/22 I called and spoke with Neil Merrigan, he explained to me that he was the new office manager and that he was there to clean up the place, he promised to call me on 11/25 with an update.

So far, I cannot get a hold of Neil or whomever the owner is, I called again today 11/29 and the girl that answered the phone Misty was so rude, and hanged up the phone in my face. I tried cancelling my order and get a refund but, they won't allow me to do that either.

Come on, we're living in America how are these shady company allowed to be in business, something has to be done. Whatever you do, please do NOT order from this comany. I was referred to this company by my real estate agent, I in turn referred my co-worker, she is having the same issues.

Hello I am Nils Merrigan and yes I was the office manager for Discount Blind and Shade for 2 weeks. During that time I tried to help as many customers as I could but the company didn't allow me to process refunds or discounts nor were they truthfull to me when I asked about customers orders, When would they get them? When were they ordered?. I was give dates that I then tried to give to the customers only to find out that they were made up and that they had no idea when or where the product was coming from.
If you paid by credit card contact you credit card company and do a charge back. Tell them that the company did not "Complete the job hired or failure to produce promised product". DO NOT mention that the company is going to do a BK because the credit card comany well then just tell you that you will be part of that. Credit card companies like Visa and Master Card will allow charge backs up to 6 months after the transaction and if they say 60-90 days you need to contact the bank that issued the card.
