 After 20 years I said goodbye to those thieves. Their price was extremely high. Called to have the package cost lowered, get a new deal or promotion and they only offered me a downgrade, with less channels and less service. I cancelled the service. They charged me an astronomical cancellation fee over 200.00 dollars and didn't do anything to me as a long time customer. But robbed me right away. These people will suck your blood if they get a chance.

If you were charged a fee for cancellation, then you still were under contract with Dish. If you go to  there you will find a blank copy of a contract. The first 6 months it states they charge 480.00 and after that 20.00 a month for the remainder of the contract.

Even I had to sign an agreement to be a Dealer for Dish. There was some thing I didn't like, but I still understood I had to follow their rules. Even thought they didn't have to follow those same rules. That's why in 2010 46 State Attorney General Offices sued Dish and a little over a year later Direct got sued by all 50 States. 

I've been in the Satellite Business for 32 years and it's hard to be loyal to someone who doesn't think much of you.  All I've tried to do is support them and the customer. But even Dish web site says they claim to support Vets. All I got was the boot from them, with no explaination. My Sales rep wouldn't return my calls. All my friends and I got from them was we were the lying cheating crooks. I'm trying to keep the customer happy, while they were not and they were the ones caught cheating.

In the past 2 weeks I have had customers for Dish, Directv, Cox Communication and AT&T U-Verse. Call me to complain about the cost of the monthly service fee. So I've begun to connect TV Antenna's as they call in to cancell their service. 

I think you will find you will see the same complaints here on this site. For any Cable or Satellite company and it'd all the same complaints. For Cox Communication, Cable One, Charter, Comcast, Time Warner, AT&T U-verse, Dish Directv Multimedia and the rest. A couple years ago I read an article were it claimed some Cable Providers were charging as much as 600 percent to the customer.

If the Cable Industry doesn't wake up soon and do something about the raising cost. There won't be any paying customers left to keep them going. I'll be more than happy to install TV Antenna's to keep a customer. What are they willing to do.
