Ryd,
The information about how autopay works should've provided to you upon having is established on your account. Please email me your account number at michael.lemar@dish.com so I can take a look and get this straightened out. Thanks for your efforts!

Only a MORON would sign a contract without reading it first...

but I doubt you've even read it yet.
YOU agreed to maintain service for two years with a pro-rated cancellation charge.
YOU also agreed they could withdraw funds from your account(s) to pay amounts owed them.
YOU cancelled early and now have the consequences of your actions.
BTW, if you fail to return the equipment in a timely manner, you'll have another nasty surprise.
I've had Dish since the early 90's and found them to be a reasonable company, but I HAVE read/understand the contract with them.
YOU ripped YOURSELF off and perhaps the bad future you wish for them, should, instead apply to YOU.
NO, I DON'T work for them...never have.

Its not a scam, its called a contract. Which you signed. Which gives them the right to bill you for a Early Termination Fee. I understand youre upset but this is all on you. Had you read the contract that you were given or that is available online, you would have seen that there is a ETF. This is your fault for not reading your contract that you signed. Not Dish. YOU decided to no longer use thier services. YOU have to pay the ETF.
First....next time someone asks you to sign your name to ANYTHING read what is presented to you. Second...Youre real mature wishing a horrible disease on ppl for what is your fault, Perhaps this will be a life lesson for you. Neither Dish or thier employees made the choice to cancel your services. Thats on you. Grow the hell up and handle your business!! Stop blaming OTHER ppl for YOUR mistakes.
