Hello,  I am so sorry for your nightmare with Dovenmuehle/MGC.  I am in a similar boat as I type.  SIX years ago MGC put an unwarrented property insurance on our home of 28 years.  We have had private property insurance with the same insurance company, same agent, same conditions, NO LAPSES for the entire 28 years.  MGC made me pay an extra $450 a month (in addition to my own property insurance that I had to keep up) even after REPEATED phone calls, faxes from me AND my insurance company for a year!  Each time I called during that year it was always, "Oh we're so sorry, we'll get this straightened out right away".  I quit sending the extra $450 and just sent my regular payment and they refused it.  They threatened foreclosure so we had to get an attorney.  Had to file Bankruptcy 13.  NOW, at the end of all these six years, they are offering us a modification BUT... GET THIS...they started accruing payments from back in May 2014 and didn't notify us until December and are expecting us to pay $20,000 to get caught up or they will foreclose.  My husband and I are disabled and would have been able to pay the monthly payments...no problem.  But to have to come up with $20.000, we have listed everything we can on craigslist to try.  Not sure how the outcome is going to be, but only a miracle will save us.  Everyone that is involved in taking our only life's investment and destroying our lives will pay a heavy price.  K-A-R-M-A.  Those people will go straight to hell.  If there is ever a class action lawsuit against them  I'M IN
