This company truly is a ripoff. I fell for their scam in July 2008 and purchased a "dream vacation" for $700. I was told that I would receive a "Diamond Vacation Package" that included:
1) 4 days and 3 nights of deluxe accommodations in Orlando, Florida
2) My choice of two 1-day tickets to either Islands of Adventure of Universal Studios OR care rental with unlimited mileage for the entire vacation
3) 3 days and 2 nights of deluxed ocean front accommodations in Daytona Beach, Florida
4) A 3 day and 2 night cruise to exotic Nassau, Bahamas
In addition, I was being "given" two 2-for-1 air vouchers to use to get four of the five of our family to Orlando.
I did indeed receive a package of paperwork that stated exactly what I was told on the phone. The paperwork stated the phone number to call to book my reservations which matched the number I was given over the phone when I was sold the "dream vacation".
So....here I am in May 2009 and I am ready to book my reservations. Guess what--I have called the number about six times and have been on hold for one hour on two occasions. The recording is very friendly and tells you that a travel rep will be with you momentarily. No one ever picks up the phone to book my reservations.
I tried the web address provided and there is no such web site. My next step was to send an email to see if I could reach anyone. Guess what? No host could be found for the email address provided--customercare@dreamvacations1.com.
So here I am with $700 less in my pocket and no one to contact regarding the scam. So I called Greg Ericksen's direct office line (813-983-7382) and all I get is a fast busy signal--such that you get when the phone line has been disconnected.
Don't be ripped off like I was--tell everyone you know about this dishonest company!

New Customer Service Number for Dream Vacations
AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, May 23, 2009
Diana Katy from Texas,
I saw your report when I was browsing online. I am also a customer of Dream Vacations. About 2 months ago they sent out a letter to me and sent me an email with their new customer service number. The number is 1-800-219-2444. The letter outlined that they sent it to every past and present customer so they knew exactly how to book their trip now or in the future. I purchased my trip 8 months ago and went on it last month. I was very skeptical at first when I purchased it, but I can tell you it was everything they said and more. It is a new ship too. The Bahamas was beautiful and the stay in Orlando was fantastic. It was the first time my family and I had ever gone to either location. In the past, our family couldn't have afforded to take a trip like this. But $800 was a heck of a deal. And the customer service was very helpful when I called too.
Maybe the email they sent went to your spam or maybe you missed the letter they sent out. Either way, I would recommend you call that new 800 number. Good luck to you.
Tom Jackson
