EA Games Has failed to resolve an issue. Redwood City California
*Consumer Suggestion: EA game's customer support is non-existant
So I have Battlefield 1942 Anthology. Disk 1 is missing, and I am looking for a replacement. Almost a week ago, i sent a support claim and I have heard NOTHING back. I have had issues with them before about other games. Do not trust theyre tech support. It is garbage. I plan on calling them tomorrow to get it resolved. yeah, it's an old game, but ii still love playing it.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
EA game's customer support is non-existant
AUTHOR: Bluey - (U.S.A.)

Dear Baconwaffles,
I too share your aggrivation concerning EA's lack of proper customer care. A few months ago I found that I was missing one of 5 installation CDs for a game I purchased from EA games. After hours of searching the internet for a customer support line (because no hotline is offered on the website) I finally discovered an 800 number. When I finally got through to a represenative, I informed him of my problem and was promptly given the answer:
"You will have to purchase the game again, we do not offer any sort of replacement for missing CDs."
The game wasnt cheap, selling retail for around 50$, so to hear this was shocking.
Luckily for both of us, I have discovered a solution to the problem that the incompetent employees of EA will likely not inform you of. As long as you have the serial key registered to your game, you can do a number of things to fix the problem. The one I highly suggest to you is to find the downloadable version of the game, then use your key to play. This is the path that I took and it proved to be the solution to my problem. I hope this helps!!!
Best of luck to you,
Bluey
