Purchased 2 or three ecocanteens and was to enter credit card FIRST. Once you get through several "deal" pages to the last page, you are shocked by the shipping charges...but its too late! Your order is already processed. I called the NEXT DAY....put on hold forever...no answer. I emailed customer support, no reply in two business days. I tried the online chat with customer service...but waited and waited. Its impossible to cancel your order. The final bill of sales screen for you to cheeck over is non existant until its too late. I paid 44 dollars to ship a few little canteens!!!! Ive shipped heavy car parts for that much! This site is nothing short of a ripoff, hence this report. Good luck trying to contact them. Dont enter your credit card! Better off going to your local WalMart and getting your steel water jugs.

Dear Mark,

Per our offer the EcoCanteen is $9.99 plus $5.95 shipping/handling and comes with a bonus insulated tote plus the shipping of $4.95 (the totes retail for an upwards of $12- $15 each). All together one adult bottle with an insulated tote comes to $20.89, which is less than Klean Kanteen and other competitors weve price checked, and their prices do not include a tote. Customers are also asked if they would like to upgrade to a deluxe model that has a stainless steel lid and lifetime guarantee for an additional $7.95 each. The Kids EcoCanteen is $8.95 plus $4.95 shipping/handling and $4.95 shipping/handling for the tote. Never Spill Pull Tops (sports lids) are $4.95 and have no Shipping and Handling. And there is also an offer for rush shipment which is a flat rate of $7.84 in addition to the regular Shipping and Handling. We would like to point out that the shipping/handling charges are displayed twice in the content of our website, a 3rd time in the flash banner at the top of the website, a 4th time within the commercial that plays on the website, and a 5th and final time in the OFFER DETAILS at the bottom of the website. Wed also like to note that we are always available to our customers during normal business hours. The Live Chat feature is no longer active as we feel we can better assist our customers by phone. Our Email address is not published, if you did not receive a response you may have emailed in response to your confirmation email which does come from a no-reply email program and address so we would not have received it to respond to.
