Ediets ripoff of Fee charged for canceling account after joining ediets. I decided to cancel my ediets account after they showed me my first week's diet. I was told that I generated a diet by signing up, and that I owed $25.00 for canceling in addition to one month's fees of $15.00. Out $40.00 for changing mind. Internet

I recently joined ediet.com. It was very complicated to fill out all the information you had to fill out. I read the agreement form which said you could withdraw your membership before midnight of the night you registered and get a refund. I could not get through to a person to cancel. I called the next morning, it had only been about 10 hours. I was told that I generated a diet plan, and I would owe $25.00 for early withdrawal, and that my joining fee of $15.00 was non refundable.

The person I talked to said I had a sample diet to look at before I joined. I did not see such a sample. I feel a person should be able to view the diet and decide. This is not possible under their terms. I made a bad mistake and had to pay $40.00 for that mistake. I think ediets is taking advantage of people and charging fees for services not received.
