Ediets ripoff fraudulent billing and refund practices Deerfield Beach Florida Internet

I wish I had found ripoffreport before I made the mistake of signing up with ediets. They lead you to believe you will be charged $11.60 a month and then they charge you $31.88 a month.

When I contacted them to cancel, the rude customer service rep told me it cost more because I had ordered extras, which I did not do.

They gave me a refund of $39.84 of the total of $63.76 they had charged me and then charged me a $25 "early cancellation fee". This fee was never mentioned when I signed up but she told me it was in the terms and conditons. I looked in the terms and condtions on their site and the fee is never mentioned.

This company is apparently just being allowed to steal from people and no one will do anything about it. I think someone should file a class action lawsuit against them, maybe they would shape up or better yet, go out of business!!!
