I bought another product because your stand carport seems to be built quite well. However as I stated the fact that my problem structure is extra high and wall most double the width means that the roof is way to heavy for the standard four corner braces.

 today I went out and attempted to tighten all the screws again only to find that many of them have Been stripped out by the constant swaying motion. Also two of the four corner braces are buckling.

in closing I would like to reiterate if you are planning on building anything other than a standard carport, stay away from Elephant Structures, AKA Carolina Carports.

In reference to the phone call you had with our customer service manager last week. We would like to remind you again that you had placed your order on our website, which indicates in detail what a certified structure is and when is extra bracing needed as well as the difference in gauge strength. Also the 7 structure you are referring to was purchased on 03/22/2012 and after this structure was
installed, you made another purchase on 05/18/2012 for the 5 high structure, which clearly indicates that there was no problem with the first structure or you would have not repurchased another one from our company. Regardless of all that, we still stand behind our structures and offer top quality buildings. For this reason we offered you several times to send our crew out to install extra bracing and certify your structure at a minimal cost of $250.00 which is $200.00 for the material and $50.00 for the return trip fee including labor and installation. You have made it clear to us that you do not want to pay that amount. After several phone calls from your end to our company and to the installation group, both ends made it clear to you that we will certify your structure at that cost and send a crew out to install it as soon as you are ready with the payment. You informed us late last week that you will only pay half of the amount requested or you will write a complaint on the internet. Since you did not certify your structure or order extra bracing, the price of your structure did not include them. We again stand behind our structures and can send a crew out to certify your building to stand up to 130mph wind and 30psf snow load. We cannot discount the price further.
