Emachine ripoff Service on Warrantee and replacement Parts Irving California

A Memory chip that came with the machine was defective and shorted out my motherboard. One of the prongs of the conductor end actually came off inside the slot. I sent it in to have the motherboard replaced as well as the defective Memory chip.

They insisted I send my original hard drive in which I did not want to do since I hadn't recently backed it up and could not now access it. A month later I get my computer back (It sat in there ware house for 3 weeks and they worked on it for supposedly 2 and a half hours.

They got it to work but did not fix the problem. First I see they erased my hard drive and reloaded in the operating system (lost all My programs, drivers, graphics, photos, Music, etc). The Hard drive was fine and there was no need to touch it. Then I notices that the motherboard had not been changed (I marked it before I sent it in, Then I Pulled out the memory chip which now had 3 prongs broken off and put a new chip in both slots and sure enoght the second slot was still shorted out and did not work.

All they had done was do a diagnostic on the system and somehow got one of the memory slots to work but because the one slot ws not working as I told them they were suppose to replace the mother board which they didn't. I work 3 years building computers and passed the A+ Hardware certification and I can't imagine the ineptness of this service Department and this technician shoud be fired.

I am now waiting to see what they are going to do about this. If this isn't resolved I will make it my personal goal to persuade everyone I can, to avoid buying Emachines. It is quite obvious that they use inferior parts as well as inadequately trained technicians.
