Embassy Suites a Hilton Company Serves businesses in the area but makes customers book at least 3 nights Atlanta, Georgia
*Consumer Comment: This is not a ripoff.
*Author of original report: Don't plan to check in on Monday
This hotel is in the heart of Atlanta, serving businesses in the area. I needed two rooms for two nights for employees to attend training sessions. The hotel would only book for 3 nights each. I called and they wouldn't do anything to help out. I guess they are counting on sucking all the big companies that need the hotel out of extra night(s) stays. Well, I'm sorry. It's wrong and I won't waste my company's money like that! Embassy is owned by Hilton, by the way.

This is not a ripoff.

I'm stunned that someone in the business community would call this a ripoff. Minimum stays are common in the industry, particularly during big events. The main reason that it's not a ripoff is that they were up front about their policy and allowed you to take it or leave it. It didn't cost you a penny and you're free to make reservations at a hotel whose terms are more to your liking.
How would you like it if customers called your business a ripoff because they didn't agree to your terms?
This is nothing more than petty whining from someone who can't afford to stay where the "big companies" will be. Grow up.

Oh yes, and no Monday check-ins! They don't allow that either!
