EMERGE ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing and credit reporting Columbus Georgia

I had a cedit card account with Providian. They sold my account to Emerge MasterCard. I continue making my payments to them. However, my debt with them never goes down but it goes up each time. They even report my account as delinquent to the credit bureaus and I have not stopped making the payments. I recently made a $100.00 and Emerge reported to the credit bureau that the account was $100.00 past due after they received the payment. I do not know what to do. They keep charging fees and more fees. I hope other consumers don't have this type of problem.
