EVO Merchant Services FRAUD company... Melville New York

Just got an "Urgent Collections Notice" today 29Jan2009. Claiming that my late husband owes them, but his partner closed the account long time ago and there was no amount owed.

Robert Quiles is the rep. for this case, and claims he needs a copy of the death cert.
I am not just going to give sensitive materials to these people. Especially, there are many negative reports about this company from their own previous employees and previous clients.

1. Never got any bill or notice from this company,
2. His partner stopped using the credit card machine in two months when he figured that this company was billing him with an arm and a leg!
3. His partner closed the account (due to fees, hidden fees, and debited his partner's bank account without notice)

Mr. Quiles said, my late husband's partner did not read the contract - "there's a time limit" that you should possess the credit card machine before you could return it and closed the account. Supposedly, 90 days...lies...it's actually 48 months!
On top of that, Robert Quiles hanged up the phone before I can say anything with no interruptions from him. Unprofessional of him!

Why would people do this to each other and go to bed smiling, call yourself a good christian, the mother/father of the year, etc...
