In the interview I was asked what integrity was I guess I should have been asking Mr Jason Johnson DM for New Paltz NY store because he has a complete lack of INTEGRITY. I turned down a decent job offer last Friday due to the fact of said DM making it seem like I was going to get the position I sincerely wanted by telling me I was the #1 candidate that he had a few more interviews by there were only formalities and even told me they wanted the position filled by the 19th or 20th and asked if those dates worked for me.

I had been given a date and time for my interview but due to hurricane Sandy it was post poned and the day of the interview I showed up and the store manager Beth said she was un awear that there was interviews for that day and was completely unperpaired my interview lasted 3 1/2 hours which I happily went through because I very much wanted the job.

I seen other people come in with resumes stating they had interviews but she did not due them and while I was on my way home I was called by Beth and asked if I would come back tomorrow for my 2nd interview with Jason Johnson.

He then had the fill in manager from the Kingston NY store take me outside show me some of the job and ask questions that is why. I was then told by Mr Jason Johnson and the Store manager Elizabeth that I would be hearing back from them by Tuesday 11-6-2012 because that was when they were making their decision when I did not here back by 4:30 I decided to call Beth and every since then have gotten the run around and lied to by beth telling me "She had no knowledge of what was going on and that Jason Johnson was supposed to call me and that she did not know why he had not"

Jason Johnson had told me when I finally got him on the phone on Saturday 11-10-2012 that he would be back in his office on Monday 11-12-2012 having me on the phone but not saying anything. I then called Mr Jason Johnson on Monday 11-12-2012 because he lacked INTEGRITY to call me and when I got him on the phone he said "Yes I will call you back in a 1/2 hour because I'm out to lunch" that was at 1:19pm half hour had come and gone and no call I waited until 3:30pm to try and call and got no answer I tried all the way up to 5:00pm with no answer at 11:30pm I receive an email from the recruiting department that I was not chosen.

I call that slimy degrading spineless and yes zero INTEGRITY. I will sending this to the BBB all forms of social media and anyone that will here my story because in these tough economic times its nothing but evil to mislead someone and string them along in regards to employment.

Job loss

AUTHOR: Angela - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 18, 2013

I can not believe you consider not getting hired for a job you are obviously unqualified for a "rip off". I am sure that this position required "ability to communicate clearly" or something to that effect. Perhaps you are unaware that your spelling, punctuation, and all around ability to communicate in written form is horrendous. I would recommend checking out a remedial English class at a local community college.
Although I was not personally involved in this interviewing process I was Gold Medal Manager and District Trainer for Public Storage for over 7 years. There is no way I would hire you based solely on how you wrote this complaint. It also seems like you were harassing the hiring manager. I doubt this was a "rip off", you may have interviewed well but due to your inappropriate behavior and inability to communicate in writing they hired someone who is more qualified.
New York State is an "employment-at-will," state. If there is no contract to restrict firing (like a collective bargaining agreement) an employer has the right to discharge an employee at any time for any reason. Therefore even if the manager had offered you the position in writing, which he did not, he still had every right to change his mind. The fact you received an offer that you subsequently turned down for this position surprises me considering this post. Was the "decent position" fry cook at McDonald's? I ask because considering your actions; harassing the hiring manager, turning down a job offer, posting a rip off report blaming others for your incompetence (therefore guaranteeing  you would never be considered for an opening in the future) I find it difficult to believe you were offered a terribly great job.
What makes you feel you were entitled to this position? The manager explicitly told you he was interviewing other people. It sounds like he was being polite and trying to let you down easy. Any normal person would have got the hint but your over active sense of entitlement coupled with your over all lack of intelligence blinded you to reality.
1.)In what world does telling someone when the start date for position equal a job offer?
2.)"un awear" is spelled unaware,
3.)"unperpaired" is spelled unprepared
4.)" I saw" not "I seen",
5.)"she did not DO them not "due them"
6.) "He then had the fill in manager from the Kingston NY store take me outside show me some of the job and ask questions that is why" I believe you meant to say "The relief manager (the actual name for the "fill in manager")took (past tense of take as this has already occurred)me outside TO show ME some ASPECTS of the job the rest of the sentence makes no sense at all.
7.) When you did not hear from them on the 6th as previously stated it should have occurred to you that you were likely not going to get the position. I'm sure they did contact the person who got the job on that date. Once you were no longer the number one candidate there was no reason for him to contact you.
8.)The fact you called him over the weekend when he was not in the office shows your behavior was entirely inappropriate.
9.)people hear your story not "anyone that will here my story"
10.)"its" is the possessive form of the pronoun it. "in these tough economic times its nothing but evil"In this situation what you mean is IT IS evil... you can shorten it to it's but you MUST have the '
Lastly what exactly (other than this post) was degrading? Perhaps you are unclear on the definition of degrade? Definition of DEGRADE according to Merriam Webster transitive verb 1a : to lower in grade, rank, or status : demote b : to strip of rank or honors c : to lower to an inferior or less effective level d : to scale down in desirability or salability 2a : to bring to low esteem or into disrepute b : to drag down in moral or intellectual character : corrupt 3: to impair in respect to some physical property 4: to wear down by erosion 5: to reduce the complexity of (a chemical compound) :decompose intransitive verb 1: to pass from a higher grade or class to a lower 2 of a chemical compound : to become reduced in complexity
These are but a few of the many errors it your post. I could go on but I have things to do. Seriously consider a remedial English course or a GED program if you are a High School drop out. It will increase your employment significantly.
