Processed 2 payments and didn't credit it to my account i have copies of both processed checks .....

I made a home loan with option one mortage company, the loan was sold to Countrywide Home Loans and I was very satisfied with their service. Then Countrywide sold the loan to Fairbanks Capital Corp. This is when my home loan that I have no problem paying went to hell. I sent 2 payments to Fairbanks Cashiering dept both which were cashed and and not put towards my account...

I found out about this when I got a call from Fairbanks collection dept telling me my home loan was 3 months behind (mind you my loan is due on the first of every month with a ten day grace period) I recieved this call on 2/4/03 I get paid on the 7th of each month so I was holding on til pay day to pay the mortage. Caller who's name I don't remember told me that I owed $1840.00 I was stunned!! I know for a fact that he was dead wrong so I contacted my credit union to inquire about the last 2 checks that I had sent to Fairbanks Casheiring dept to see if they were processed or missing in the mail. Low and behold 2 days later I get my answer both checks were processed and i have copies of them. So I called Fairbanks Customer service and gave them check numbers to see if they could find the problem,

check # 259043 617.00
check # 269925 611.00

Anyways dude on the phone told me to fax copies of checks to research dept which I did the very next morning at work, then i went to my western union office and made a quick collect for the diffrence of the amount said I owed ...Balance owed said Fairbanks 1840,00 - 617.00 - 611.00 = 612.00

I called back Fairbanks after sending copies of checks to give customer service the quick collect mtcn #. At this time I am totally current with my house loan according to my records.

Just to let you know that i still recieve calls from Fairbanks Collections Dept reguarding payment and I still try to explain to the agent at fairbanks the problem of this account and i am totally getting no where...I can't even talk to a human it's all automated response on the phone when I call asking for ssn # and directing me straight to collection dept, I have no idea what more to do. I you or you staff can help me in this situatuion or if you know of a nubmer I can call at Fairbanks to talk to a supervisor please contact me. FAIRBANKS IS FORCING MY HOME LOAN IN TO DEFAULT and it's very sad because I am current.
